Yesterday the S&P/ASX 200 ended the day up 15 points, closing at 4,750.50.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day up 47 points closing to 10,444.14 as the “Economy showing strength as retail sales climb.”
In the UK, the FTSE ended the session lower by 6 points to 5,527.16.
This morning the Aussie dollar is trading at 59.91 pence.
The Nikkei dropped 107 points yesterday, ending the session at 10,145.7.
Gold eased back overnight by USD$10 per ounce.
The price of spot gold in Australian dollars is trading at $1,259.03 while in US Dollars it is trading at $1,132.89. The price of silver in Aussie dollars is $19.06 and in US Dollars it is $17.16.
The Aussie dollar versus the US dollar is USD$0.8993, against the Japanese Yen JPY80.20.
Crude Oil closed at USD$80.71.
